I have been teaching at Blue Grass Baptist School since 1997.  I have taught the first grade for most of that time.  I have two teenage children, Kristin and Peyton, who attended Blue Grass for their elementary education.  I spend most of my free time at various sporting events in which my children participate.  I run (well it’s really more like a jog) three miles a day.  I have to stay in shape to keep up with these energetic first graders.  I am an avid reader and try my best to encourage this in my students.  I love the outdoors, gardening, scary movies, anything that has to do with the ocean, and the color red.  I have an open door policy for my classroom.  Please feel free to come in and observe anytime, just make sure you sign in in the front office first.
